888 + 44 = 932

This interactive installation developed by artist Karen Golland invites you to explore, create and collaborate through the work of the late Bathurst artist Steve Kirby.

As each piece is cut, cleaned, sanded and polished, they they are placed next to each other and photographed. A small magnet is then attached to the back of each piece and they are counted and packed away awaiting their installation. These arrangements are not finished compositions. These pieces will likely never be side by side again.
